Turkish low-cost carrier launches direct flights to London

ANKARA (A.A) - Turkey's low-cost air carrier AnadoluJet, daughter company of the country's national flag carrier, the Turkish Airlines (THY), has launched direct flights to London.
AnadoluJet made its maiden flight on Friday to London's Stansted Airport, the 14th international destination of the company, which was founded in April, 2008, said Sami Aslan, head of regional flights department.
Flights to London are scheduled for Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays every week from Ankara's Esenboga International Airport, connecting the company's 36 domestic flight destinations. 
One way tickets are sold at a promotion price of 89 euros for a month.        
AnadoluJet has flights from the Turkish capital to Amsterdam, Brussels, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Copenhagen, Cologne, Moscow, Stockholm, Damascus, Tehran and Vienna.
