MUGLA (A.A) - 11.03.2009 - Turkish Environment & Forestry Minister Veysel Eroglu said on Tuesday that President Abdullah Gul invited leaders of nearly 25 countries to the 5th World Water Forum.
Eroglu told reporters that Turkey would host the 5th World Water Forum between March 16 and 22. He added that 20,000 people would participate in the Forum.
He said that a ministerial conference, a parliamentarians summit and a heads of state summit as well as a huge exhibition would take place within the scope of the Forum.
Noting that President Gul invited leaders of nearly 25 countries to the Forum, Eroglu said that he also invited water and environment ministers of 180 countries. Eroglu added that parliamentarians and media from all countries would attend the forum too.
