Turkish Deputy Premier Arinc leaves for Germany

ISTANBUL (A.A) - Turkish State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc left for Germany on Friday to hold formal talks.
Prior to his departure, Arinc told reporters at Ataturk Airport in Istanbul that he would hold important talks in Germany, stating that he would have a meeting with representatives of media organizations broadcasting in Turkish there.
Arinc said that he would meet with Guntram Schneider, minister of labor, health and social affairs for north Rhine-Westphalia, and Eckhard Uhlenberg, Parliamentary President of North Rhine-Westphalia, during his visit.
Arinc said he would also meet with representatives of several nongovernmental organizations.
Replying to questions regarding recent developments in Egypt, Arinc said that he hoped that incidents in Egypt would end without harming people and without damaging cultural heritage of the country. Government should make right decisions in regard to freedoms and democratization, he said. Arinc added that several countries should take lessons from what had happened in Egypt.
