Turkish Cypriot minister says TRNC needs Turkey's support for economic development
ISTANBUL (A.A) Feb 10 - Turkish Cypriot Environment and Tourism Minister Kemal Durust on Thursday said the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) needed Turkey's support for economic development.
"We are expecting the greatest support from Turkey in our economic development," Durust told reporters in Istanbul where he attended the East Mediterranean Tourism & Travel Exhibition (EMITT).
"Nobody can tear the Turkish Cypriots apart from their motherland. Despite some dissenting views, the TRNC is in need of the Turkey's support. We very well know that the TRNC can stand on its feet thanks to Turkey's support," Durust said.
