Turkey's foreign trade minister due to Russia

ANKARA (A.A) - 13.03.2011 - Turkish State Minister for foreign trade Zafer Caglayan will travel to Russia on Monday to attend the meeting of High-Level Consultation Council to take place in Moscow.
Caglayan will travel to Moscow with a large group of Turkish businessmen who will seek business opportunities with Russian companies. 
As part of the council meeting, Turkey and Russia will organize a business forum which will be attended also by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan who will pay a formal visit to Russia, Caglayan's office said on Sunday.
Trade volume between Turkey and Russia rose 15.7 percent to 26.6 billion USD in 2010. Turkey's exports was up 44.7 percent and totaled 4.6 billion USD. Turkey's imports increased 11 percent to 21.5 billion USD.
Turkish companies' investments in Russia amounted to 7 billion USD last year. Turkish construction firms have so far undertaken 252 projects worth 33.8 billion USD.
