ISTANBUL, Feb. 14 (A.A) - Turkey's Is Bankasi posted on Monday 2 billion USD of net profit in 2010, a bank statement said.
Is Bankasi declared a net profit of 3.2 billion Turkish liras-TL (2 billion USD) in 2010, and the bank's consolidated assets were worth 151 billion TL (94.6 billion USD).
The consolidated net profit income of the bank was 5.4 billion TL (3.3 billion USD), and the bank's consolidated net profit was up 17 percent year-on-year to 3.2 billion TL (2 billion USD).
The bank announced its consolidated loan volume around 69 billion TL (43.2 billion USD) with a 31 percent year-on-year rise in 2010.
Is Bankasi raised its consolidated deposit volume by 23 percent in a year to 88 billion TL (55.1 billion USD).
The bank raised the number of its branches to 1,142 from 1,093, and its employees to 23,944 from 22,473 by the end of 2010.
Founded in 1924, Is Bankasi began to operate with two branches and 37 staff.
