Qtel Launches SMS Directory Enquiry Service

Doha, July 31 (QNA) - Qtel has launched Qatar s first-ever SMS Directory Enquiries service, which enables customer to request numbers with a simple short-code. The service has been designed to be as easy as possible to use. Customers simply have to send the name of the business or government organisation whose details they are searching for via SMS to short code 180. If the search item is found on the fully-comprehensive Qtel database, the customer will receive the details and phone number via SMS. They will then be able to call the number or save it to their phone contacts. In cases where the search item cannot be found, customers will be offered the option to try again with the correct spelling, or directed through to the Qtel Mozaic Portal http://wap.mozaic.qa/directory, which has a directory enquiries search page. Qtel has launched the new SMS Directory Enquiries service to support the promises of the Qtel Customer Charter, which aims to provide customers with the most up-to-date information in the most convenient way possible. This service will enable customers too quickly and conveniently search for any number at any time, with no limitations and no cost for as many searches as they need. (QNA)
