IFSEC Sea 2015 Best Platform To Discover New Technologies

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 4 (Bernama) -- IFSEC Southeast Asia (IFSEC SEA), the largest government and commercial security, safety and fire protection exhibition and conference in the region, is the best platform to discover new technologies and innovations while building networks and business with other professionals and industry players. United Business Media (M) Sdn Bhd (UBM Malaysia) chairman Dr Ahmad Mustaffa Babjee said this exhibition and conference would educate and inform end users of the newest commercial security solutions, products and services available in the market. "IFSEC SEA is a big international event that has been going on about 14 year and we employ it and bring it here," he told reporters after the launch of the conference by Malaysian Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre here Thursday. This year, IFSEC SEA is introducing a new event called 'Safe Cities' whereby much-favoured approach to urban security, featuring the ability to efficiently react, respond to and monitor incidents related to crime, terrorism and natural disasters. The thee-day event, which began Wednesday, showcases latest technological products and services in commercial security, safety and fire protection, as well as, data protection and cyber security products and solutions by over 300 companies from 36 countries, including United Kingdom, Taiwan, China and Singapore. A total of 17 topics will be discussed by security, safety and fire protection experts at the conference, including Federal Department of Town and Country Planning director-general Paduka Dr Dahlia Rosly and Panasonic System Solutions Asia Pacific manager Gaku Hikada. --BERNAMA
