Young Azerbaijani boxers bring home ten medals from Georgia

Baku, June 21, AZERTAC Young Azerbaijani boxers have claimed a clutch of ten medals, including five golds at an international tournament in honor of European and world champion Georgi Kandelaki held in Gori, Georgia. The gold medals came from Kanan Babayev (48kg), Amin Mammadzade (51kg), Kamil Babayev (54kg), Taji Taghizade (60kg) and Sabuhi Alizade (+92 kg). Azerbaijan ranked first in the overall medal table of the tournament. The tournament brought together about 100 boxers from Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Armenia.
