Wrestling tournament in Almaty: Kyrgyzstan has 6 Olympic licenses, 9 medals

Bishkek, April 13, 2021 . / Kabar /. Members of Kyrgyzstan’s wrestling team won six licenses for the 32nd Olympic Games in Tokyo and nine medals at the Asian Wrestling Championship. The Asian qualifying tournament was held on April 9-11 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. A total of 36 men's and women's Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling licenses to the Tokyo Olympics were up for grabs. Thus, Kyrgyzstanis Zholaman Sharshenbekov, Akzhol Makhmudov, Aiperi Medet kyzy, Ernazar Akmataliyev took the first places, Uzur Dzhusupbekov, Meerim Zhumanazarova became winners of the silver medal and Bekbolot Myrnazar uulu, Elaman Dogdurbek uulu and Ayial Lazarev won the bronze medals.
