UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov to visit Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyzstan for the first time will host a mixed martial arts tournament of the Eagle Fighting Championship (EFC) league, owned by UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, PR-manager of the EFC tournament Nurperi Sadyrbekova said. In the main fight of the evening, reigning champion of the league Ruslan Yamanbaev (Russia) will hold a title defense against Busurmankul Abdibait uulu (Kyrgyzstan). The tournament will take place on Aug. 3 at the hippodrome in Cholpon-Ata (Issyk-Kul Oblast). It will be attended by a special guest, President of the Eagle Fighting Championship league, undefeated UFC champion and the best fighter of the promotion Khabib Nurmagomedov. The upcoming EFC tournament will give a new impetus to the development of sports in Kyrgyzstan, particularly mixed martial arts, and will leave a bright trace in its history and improve the country's image abroad.
