Top Ten Hold ATP Rankings, Japan's Nishikori Jumps Six Places
Doha, February 26 (QNA) - The top ten positions maintain status quo while 11 to 20 places show a lot of movement in the latest men's Emirates ATP rankings.
Serbia's Novak Djokovic continues at the top spot with 12,960 points from just 19 tournaments while Swiss ace Roger Federer is second with 9,855 points and Great Britain's Andy Murray is third with 8,480 points. Both have competed in 20 tournaments.
Japan's Kei Nishikori is the most significant mover in the rankings, jumping six places to move to the number 16th spot. He has won 11 and lost two matches in 2013 and won one title.
Last Sunday he won his third ATP World Tour trophy, defeating Feliciano Lopez 6-2, 6-3 in the final of the US National Indoor Tennis Championships in Memphis.
Canada's Milos Raonic dropped the most, sliding four places to number 18. Spain's Nicolas Almagro (12), German Tommy Haas (19) and Italian Andreas Seppi (20) dropped one position each.
Croatia's Marin Cilic (11), Agrentina's Juan Monaco (14), American John Isner (15) all moved up one rank each. (QNA)
