Three Kyrgyzstani wrestlers win licenses to Tokyo Olympics

Bishkek, April 9, 2021 . / Kabar / . Three athletes from Kyrgyzstan won a licenses for the Tokyo Olympics, the press service of the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports said. At the Asian Wrestling Licensing Championship, which is taking place these days in the city of Almaty (Kazakhstan), Kyrgyzstanis Uzur Zhusupbekov, Akzhol Makhmudov and Zholoman Sharshenbekov competed in the Greco-Roman wrestling and reached the final, thus winning a license for the Olympics. Thus, Zholaman Sharshenbekov performs in the weight category up to 60 kg, Akzhol Makhmudov – up to 77 kg and Uzur Zhusupbekov –up to 97 kg. All three athletes will fight for the first place.
