Slovenia Wins Qatar International Junior Handball Title

Doha, June 27 (QNA) - Slovenia edged out hosts Qatar, 28-26, in a hard-fought final to win the title of third Qatar International Junior Handball Championship played at indoor court of Al Gharaffa Sports Club Indoor. Slovenia finished first ahead of second-placed Tunisia. Bosnia Herzegovina finished third while Qatar took the fourth place. The Qatari handball team is scheduled to participate in the 2013 Men's Junior World Handball Championship which will be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina from July 14 to 28 next month. (QNA)
