Shaikha Hayat to participate in award jury meeting

Manama, Apr. 10 (BNA): Chairperson of the Women Sport Committee at the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa has left to Abu Dhabi, where she will take part in the meeting of the jury of the second edition of the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Award for Women Athletes, due to convene tomorrow. Shaikha Hayat expressed great pride in being a member of the Jury of the award that bears the name of Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the chairwoman of the General Women's Union, the supreme chairperson of Family Development Foundation and chairwoman of the Supreme Council of Motherhood and Childhood. It is to be noted that the award consists of five categories, including individual levels and levels of foundations and personalities. On the individual level, the award consists of excellent woman Athlete, excellent Athlete for disabled, distinguished coach, distinguished media person and distinguished sport administrator. On the level of foundations and unions, there are 4 categories: junior development, development of teams and efficient contribution, sponsorship and marketing, and distinguished media work in women's sports, in addition to the award dedicated to the local sports personality of the year and the Arab sports personality of the year.
