Shaikh Isa: His Majesty King Hamad Cup is an annual event of great importance

Manama, March 18 (BNA)-- Vice President of the Supreme Authority of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised the kick-off of His Majesty King Hamad Cup horse racing event next Friday as an important annual event which epitomises support for the equestrian and horseracing sport, in general, and the Supreme Authority of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, in particular. Shaikh Isa extended heartfelt thanks and gratitude to HM the King for raising the value of prizes allocated for the race which will further fan the horse riders, trainers and owners competitive spirit. He stressed that the festival has become a traditions for which special preparations are made in advance. He welcomed participation of the international jockeys Richard Hughes and Luke Morris, alongside an elite of renowned horseriders, in the prestigious equestrian event, asserting that their presence will add excitement and competition to win leading places. He paid tribute to HM the King for his unflinching support to the equestrian sport which has enormously contributed to its development. He also underlined the ongoing efforts of the Supreme Authority of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, under the chairmanship of Shaikh Abdullah bin Isa Al Khalifa, to achieve set up goals and bring about more achievements.
