Sambo wrestlers from Kyrgyzstan earns six medals at world championship

Bishkek, Dec. 17, 2020. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz sambo wrestlers won six medals of different merits at the World Championship in Novi Sad, Serbia. More than 400 athletes from 30 countries took part in the international tournament. - National athlete and master of sports international class Daiyrbek Karyyaev won a silver medal in combat sambo in the weight category up to 74 kg; - Master of sports Baktiyar uulu Shumkarbek took the second place in combat sambo in the category up to 68 kg. The only girl of Kyrgyzstan’s national sambo team Abdumalik kyzy Samara won a bronze medal in the category up to 52 kg.
