Rashid Equestrian,Horse Racing Club holds ninth race

Manama, Dec. 25 (BNA): In the presence of the Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club High Committee HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club today held the ninth race for this season at its racecourse in Rafaa, Sakhir. Shaikhs, representatives of sponsors and horse-racing fans were also present. Seven rounds were held over the Nass Group Cup, the Nass CB&I Cup, the Sarns Cup, the Blue Dawn Veterinary Cup, the Applied Science University Cup for locally-bred horses, the Gulf City Cleaning Cup for foreign-bred horses and the Late Abdulla Ahmed Nass Cup HH Shaikh Isa presented the trophy of the Nass Cup to winning trainer Youssef Al-Buainain. HH Shaikh Isa was presented with the trophy of the Applied Science University Cup, and a commemorative gift from the Director of the Applied Science University Dr. Waheeb Al-Khaja. Director-General of the Gulf City Cleaning James McDonalds crowned HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa with the trophy of the company’s cup. Meanwhile, Nass Group Board of Directors Chairman Sameer Nass presented the trophy of the second round to HH Shaikh Sultanuddin bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, and member Hanouf Nass honoured the winner of the third round Youssef Tahar. On the other hand, Director-General of Blue Dawn Veterinary Dr. Shyam Shankar, presented the trophy of the fourth round to Nader Al-Jasmi, and the Managing-Director of the Nass Group Sameer Nass crowned the winning owner of the sixth round Mohammed Juma’a.
