Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club holds second race

Manama, Nov. 13 (BNA): The Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club held today, at its racecourse in Rafaa, Sakhir, the second race of the 2015-2016 season. Chairman of the club's High Committee Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa, and President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa attended. The races were held over the cups of the late Sayed Sharaf Al-Alawi, the late Abdu-Hadi Al-Afoo and teh Sakhir stable. The club's Director-General Tawfik Sharaf Al-Alawi presented the Sakhir Stable Cup to winner Youssef Tahar, the Late Sayed Sharaf Al-Alawi Cup to rider Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa. Meanwhile, Ibrahim Al-Afoo presented the late Abdul-Hadi Al-Afoo Cup to rider Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa. He also honoured the first four winners of late Abdul-Hadi Al-Afoo Cup.
