QOC Secretary General Meets Palestinian Youth Minister

Doha, April 19 (QNA) - Secretary General of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdurrahman Al-Thani met here today with Palestinian Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Al-Madhoun and his accompanying delegation who are currently visiting Qatar. The QOC Secretary General welcomed the Palestinian minister and his accompanying delegation, pointing to the need for full coordination and fruitful cooperation which will serve the two sides. Talks during the meeting dealt with aspects of mutual cooperation and means to develop them especially in the youth and sport sectors. For his part the Palestinian minister hailed the great development witnessed in Qatar in various fields specially the sport sector including the successful organizing of regional and international events praising in this respect Qatar's sport facilities which will enable it to organize the biggest events at the world's level as well as the organizational leadership and administrative personnel in the youth and sports sectors.
