Qatar's Sports Mission for Ladies Leaves for Sharjah Tomorrow

Doha, January 30 (QNA) - Qatar's Ladies mission is to leave Doha tomorrow , Tuesday for Sharjah , the UAE , to take part in the first tournament of the arab clubs' for ladies due to kick off there on Feb.2 and runs till Feb.12 . The qatari mission to include the basketball and table-tennis select teams as well as the shooting and athletics selects will be be headed by chairperson Mariam Bashir Al-Abdullah and her deputy Fatima Abdulrahman Al-Mutawaa . According to the programme set by the Organizing Committee of the tournament, all the teams participating in Sharjah event will be arriving on Tuesday whereas the competitions committee will hold technical meetings with the teams on Wednesday, the first of February in the presence of the Higher Organizing Committee for such an event. The opening ceremony will be held on the second of February at the Showroom Sharjah Club, to be followed by the start of volleyball and basketball competitions and are to continue for 7 days, the table- tennis will continue for 5 days. While the athletics competitions will take place on Feb 6- 8, followed by the shooting tournament on Feb.9 to 11. (QNA)
