Qatar's Junior Basketball Team to Participate in Gulf Championship

Doha, July 05 (QNA) - Qatar's junior basketball team will participate in the Second GCC Junior Basketball Championships due to be held in Sharjah, the UAE from July 7-13. Five teams compete for the title; the State of Qatar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, Bahrain, and the UAE (host country) . The Qatari team had attended a foreign camp in Turkey during the last period in preparation for the championship. Bahrain had won the first championship's edition which was held in Doha at the al-Gharaffa club's hall. (QNA)
