Qatari Gymnasts Ready for Arab Championship in Kuwait

Doha, May 06 (QNA) - Qatar s artistic gymnastics team intensified their training session to participate in the Fourth Arab Championship for Men's Artistic Gymnastics, which will run from 6-10 May in Kuwait with the participation of national teams and competitors from 15 Arab countries. The championship, which is also known as Martyr Fahad Al-Ahmad's Championship Cup, includes the six traditional men's apparatus (floor exercise, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars and high bar) and the all-around and team competitions. The event will see the participation of teams from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Algeria, Yemen, Morocco and Sudan in addition to the Kuwaiti team. Qatar s gymnastics team delegation to Kuwait is chaired by Ali Al-Hitmi, the President of Qatar Gymnastics Federation (QGF) accompanying by the technical staff members and the players Mahmoud Mohammed Al-Saadi and Ahmed Saleh Al-Dayyani and the international referee, Naser Awad Al-Yafe, according to Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC).
