Qatari Delegation to Participate in London Olympic Games Inaugural Ceremony

London, July 26 (QNA) - Oatar's official delegation will take part in the London 2012 Olympic Games which will kick off tomorrow at the Olympic Stadium. The Qatari delegation will be led by Director of Sports Affairs at the Qatar Olympic Committee Khalil Al-Jabir who is also director of the Qatari administrative mission participating in the Games. The sports in which Qatar will take part are: the athletics, shooting, swimming and table tennis with a list of eight athletes. Athletes taking part are: Athletics: Nour Al-Maliki (100m), Hamza Daryoush, Mohamed Al-Qarni (1500m), Mohamed Abdou Bakhit (Marathon), Mu'taz Issa Barsham (High Leap), Mus'ab Abdurrahman Ballah (800m), Shooting: Nasser Al-Attiyah (Skate), Rashid Al-Azba (Double sand), swimmer Ahmed Ghath Attari (Diversified), in addition to four female athletes namely: Nour Al-Maliki(100m), Athletics, Shooter Bahiya Ahmed gun 10m,50m three positions, swimming Nada Arkaji (Free Swimming) and Aya Majdi (Table Tennis). Shooting champion Bahiya Al-Hamad will bear the Qatari flag during the games official opening ceremony. (QNA)
