Qatar Wins Second Place at Arab Shooting Championship

Kuwait, March 26 (QNA) - The Qatari shooting team occupied the second place at the 10th Arab Shooting Championship held in Kuwait from March 19-25, 2012 with participation of 15 countries. The Qatari shooters have grabbed 30 medals including 9 gold medals, 13 silver medals and 8 bronze medals to secure the second place behind Kuwaiti shooters who led the competition with 24 medals including 10 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 5 bronze medals while KSA finished third. On Sunday, Aysha Sl-Suwaidi claimed the gold medal of 50 m prone rifle event while the Qatari Trap Team clinched the gold of Teams Trap Event. The Qatari team included Rashid Al-Azba, Hamad Al-Meri and Masoud Al-Azba. (QNA)
