Qatar Sets Ground for Arab Sports Tournament

Doha, November 28 (QNA) -Preparations have been completed for Qatar's hosting of the Arab sports tournament which will be staged on December 9 - 23. HE Sheikh Saud Bin Abdel Rahman Al Thani, the secretary general of the Qatari Olympic Committee and chairman of the organizing committee of the Arab tournament told the media Monday that the sports village was now ready to receive participants, noting that the Libyan and Iraqi teams have already arrived whereas Egypt's delegation will be arriving tomorrow. The opening ceremony was now undergoing final touches, he explained.(QNA)
