Qatar Olympic Committee Delegation Arrives in Sofia

Sofia, April 28 (QNA) - A delegation from the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC), headed by its Secretary-General HE Sheikh Saud Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, arrived in the Bulgarian capital Sofia on Sunday evening on a two-day working visit at the invitation of the Bulgarian Ministry of Physical Education and Sports. The delegation was welcomed upon arrival by Bulgarian Minister of Physical Education and Sports Petar Stoychev, HE Qatar' Ambassador in Sofia Mohamed bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, Speaker of Bulgaria's Parliament Vanya Karaganeva and a number of officials from the Bulgarian ministry of sports. The delegation accompanying HE comprises the Director of Public Relations and Marketing Department Faisal Salih Al-Mansouri, Director of Sports Affairs Department Khalil Ibrahim Al-Jabir, Director of Engineering Projects Department Abdulrahman Abdullah Al-Maliki and a number of QOC officials. The QOC delegation will hold a number of meetings with the Bulgarian Minister of Physical Education and Sports, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labor and Social Policy Deyana Kostadinova and president of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee Stefka Kostadinova. The delegation will also pay a visit to Belmeken Sports Complex at the Alps Mountains to get familiarized with sport facilities there. (QNA)
