Qatar Lose to Iran in International Friendly Tournament

Doha, March 23 (QNA) - The Qatari Olympic team lost 1-2 against the Iranian Olympic team in the 11th International Friendly Tournament. The match was played in Al Arabi Sports Club. Qatar now has one point from two matches after it drew in the first match with Turkey. Iran top the tournament with a full six points from two wins. They defeated Morocco 1-0 in their opening match. Iran led the game 2-0 after 57 minutes of play. Qatar pulled one back in the 63rd minute and tried to push for an equalizer but it was not to be. (QNA)
