Kuala Lumpur, June 30 (QNA) - Qatar Juniors football team will lock horns against Kuwait in the group C match of the Asian U-22 qualifiers in Malaysia on Sunday. Juniors team aspire to increase their qualification chance for Asian U-22 finals when they face Kuwait tomorrow. The team made a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Bahraini counterparts in the group C match of Asian U-22 qualifiers in Malaysia last Thursday. Thursday s victory over neighbors Bahrain braced the Qatar s national juniors football team to move second place, raising their points tally to 6 points behind the leaders, Iran who holds 9 points. Qatar Juniors football squad is distributed in group C alongside Kuwait, Maldives, Bahrain, Iran and Tajikistan. (QNA)
