Qatar Emir Attends Arab Games Opening Ceremony

Doha, December 09 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani patronized the opening ceremony of the Arab Games 2011, held at Khalifa International Stadium on Friday evening. HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani ,HH the Emir's Personal Representative HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and HH the Emir's Special Advisor HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani also attended the opening ceremony. It was also attended by HE Deputy Premier and Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, and a number of Their Excellencies sheikhs and the ministers. A number of their Excellencies the Arab Presidents, the Arab League Secretary General HE Dr.Nabil el Arabi ,GCC Secretary General HE Abdul-Latif el Zayani ,the distinguished guests of the country along with the heads of the diplomatic corpses accredited to Qatar also attended the event.
