Qatar to Contest Asian Billiards in India Starting April 1
Doha, March 10 (QNA) - Qatar will participate in the Asian Billiards and Under-21 Snooker Championships to be held in Indore, India, between April 1 and 7.
Qatari cueists will also attempt to vie for top honours at the 29th Asian Snooker Championships to be held in Karachi, Pakistan, between April 27 and May 3, 2013.
Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation is expected to field two Qatari cueists in the two tournaments.
Doha hosted the 2012 Asian Snooker Championships which was won by India s Aditya Mehta with compatriot Pankaj Advani as runner-up.
Qatar's billiards and snooker players will be visiting two historic cities in the Indian sub-continent.
Located on the southern edge of Malwa Plateau, Indore, a historic 16th century city, is the largest city in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, 190 kms west of the state capital of Bhopal.
