Patrick Makau visits Olympic House

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Kenyan long-distance runner, World record holder and Ambassador of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Patrick Makau Musyoki is visiting Mongolia. On Tuesday, Mr Makau legged the Headquarters of Mongolia's National Olympic Committee (MonNOC) in Ulaanbaatar on occasion of the World Environmental Day. The MonNOC president Mr D.Zagdsuren received the athlete and thanked him for visiting Mongolia. During the meeting, Zagdsuren noted that the long-distance running is intensively developing in Mongolia. Born in 1985, Patrick Makau broke the world record of men’s marathon during the 2011 Berlin Marathon, setting it two hours, 03 minutes and 38 seconds.
