Participating Delegations' Heads Hail Organizing of Arab Games

Doha, December 06 (QNA) - The Organizing Committee of 12th Arab Games, which is due to kick off in Doha on Friday, held a meeting with some heads of the delegations of participating countries. HE Chairman of the Organizing Committee Sheikh Saud bin Abdurrahman Al Thani presided over the meeting. During the meeting, the committee received the requests of participating delegations and tackled issues facing the delegations. The delegations, however, praised the Organizing Committee for meeting all their requirements that would help in organizing a successful tournament. Another meeting will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, where the Organizing Committee will discuss with heads of delegations all the details of the opening ceremony. During the meeting, they will look at the opening ceremony arrangements and make them available for heads of delegation early enough before the event. Meanwhile, Qatari teams are arriving at Athletes Village where participating delegations stay during the event that runs from December 9-23. Qatari basketball and tennis teams arrived last night, volleyball team arrived today while females handball team will arrive tomorrow. (QNA)
