Our chess player competing in Grand Prix

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Mongolian chess player and FIDE Woman Grandmaster T.Batchimeg is competing in the 2nd series of the FIDE Women's Grand Prix running in Dilijan, Armenia. After three games, she is ranked fourth place by collecting two points. In the first game, she was defeated by Nana Dzagnidze of Georgia. Then she beat two opponents Olga Girya (Russia) and Viktorija Cmilyte (Lithuania). Our player is coached by D.Sharavdorj, FIDE Grandmaster. The FIDE Women's Grand Prix 2013–2014 is a series of six chess tournaments exclusively for women, which formed part of the qualification cycle for the Women's World Chess Championship 2015. The winner of the Grand Prix will challenge the 2014 Women's World Chess champion in a ten game match. The Grand Prix runner-up will play the 2015 championship.
