Oman 1-1 Qatar

Muscat, November 27 (QNA) - Qatar came from a goal down against Oman to register their third successive 1-1 draw in Group A of the third round of Asian qualifiers for the 2012 Olympic Games on Sunday but the visitors left it late to pick up the away point. Abdulaziz Al Maqbali put the home side one up early in the first-half and it was looking as though the Omani striker's 11th minute opener was enough to give the Gulf Sultanate the win that would take them to within two points of Group A leaders Korea Republic, who consigned Saudi Arabia to their second defeat of the campaign with a 1-0 victory in Seoul earlier on Sunday. However substitute Fahad Khalfan, who came on five minutes after the restart in place of defender Ahmed Yousuf Al Nahoyi, snatched a late leveller for the visitors with the Al Rayyan striker earning a point for the visitors two minutes from full-time.(QNA)
