NBH's Showjumping Championship to begin on Friday

Manama, Jan. 27 (BNA): The Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS)'s Chairman, Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC)'s President and Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF)'s Honourary President, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, said the showjumping sport in the Kingdom continues to develop technically-wise alluding to chevaliers and stallions, and affirming the paramount importance of this sport which gives the greatest impetus to continue on the path of implementation of the Federation's plans and programmes to attain highest standards in this sport. His Highness's remarks came as preparations have reached the zenith ahead of the start of the (HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad (NBH)'s Hurdles-Showjumping Championship slated for Friday, January 28 on the racecourse of Bahrain Military Sports Association. His Highness added "I have attentively followed up the previous competitions which confirmed the level and standard of the game have spectacularly development and the chevaliers reached great levels. He stressed the previous races produced promising young talents to rely on in the foreseeable future in order to form the national teams who will carry the kingdom's flag at various international functions, wishing them to achieve the desired results and prove the innovativeness and excellence of Bahraini chevaliers.
