NBH International Youth Creativity Award launched

Manama, Feb. 16 (BNA): Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder has expressed his gratitude and appreciation to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), lauding His Highness's support to the fourth edition Nasser bin Hamad (NBH) International Youth Creativity Award, emanating from His Highness's keenness on enabling youth contribution to national development in various countries. The minister made his remarks during the award launching under the motto "Beyond limits of our dreams), which will cover scientific innovativeness, drawing, painting, fine arts, movie production, photography, and architectural design. He added the award aims to encourage youth creativity and to stimulate the participants to enhance their talents to world-class professional levels, to present unprecedented masterpieces that contribute to the development of their respective countries in addition to the noble goals of increasing opportunities for youth creativity and providing youth the opportunities to express their own talents and to engage youth in their countries national development. The award covers seven areas of youth creativity, including science, arts, movie production, photography, graphic and architectural designing, he said.
