National belt wrestling team of Kyrgyzstan wins 8 medals at 1st CIS Games

Bishkek, Sept. 6, 2021. / Kabar /. The national belt wrestling team of Kyrgyzstan won 8 medals at the First CIS Games, the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. Within the framework of the 1st CIS Games, belt wrestling competitions among girls and boys were held on September 5. In total, 14 sets of medals were played: 6 among girls and 8 among boys. The national team of Kyrgyzstan won 8 medals in this competition: 1 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze. In the weight category over 76 kg among girls, Aizhan Anarbekova won a silver medal. Nurmanbet Raimaly uulu became the champion of the competition among young men in the 100 kg weight category. Kalysbek Kayimov in the weight category 62 kg, Khabibullo Tynchtyk uulu (68 kg), Dastan Akylbekov (75 kg) and Bayaman Myktybekov (90 kg) won silver medals. And also in the weight category over 100 kg Arslanbek Turdubekov and in the weight category 57 kg Kenzhebay Narynbay uulu became bronze medalists of the CIS Games. The athletes performed under the guidance of the senior coach Nurbek Kozhobekov.
