Nasser bin Hamad patronises handball final

Manama, June 22 (BNA): Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee the handball tournament final match in the first Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Sports Games and the eighth Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Football Championship (Nasser 8) will be held today at 9 pm on the field of Bahrain Handball Association. The supreme organising committee announced a set of programmes that will accompany the final match celebration, which will be attended by HH Shaikh Nasser who will award the champions and runner-up, as well as Barbar Club team for winning the local handball league 2014 – 2015. HH Shaikh Nasser Media and Information Centre Head and Nasser 8 Supreme Organising Committee Chairman Tawfeeq Al Salehy said the committee is well prepared for the first final match celebration of Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Handball Tournament. Al Salehy said the committee held a meeting last night to ensure implementing the directives of HH Shaikh Nasser to bring out a successful celebration. BD500 CASH PRIZES FOR HANDBALL FINAL AUDIENCE The supreme organising committee announced that the amount of cash prizes for audience has increased to BD500 that is presented by CrediMax. The committee explained that 10 lucky spectators will win BD50. The committee said increasing the prizes comes as an appreciation to the audience for their enthusiasm and keenness to attend the matches.
