Max Williams Wins Qatar Open Golf Title

Doha, January 12 (QNA) - Max Williams of England confidently won the title of the 28th edition of the Qatar Open Amateur Golf Championship 2013 organised by the Qatar Golf Association (QGA) at the Doha Golf Club (DGC) on Saturday. Major-General, Dahlan Al-Hamad, the representative of the Chief-of-Staff and Hassan bin Nasser Al-Nuaimi, the President of Qatar Golf Association (QGA) crowned the top winners respectively. The Qatar's golfer, Saleh Ali Al-Kaabi made impressive performance to finish in the tenth place as his teammate, Ghanim Al-Kawari did the same to manage in the 11th place. The tournament, an annual fixture on the Qatar Golf Association (QGA) calendar, has had been a hit with the amateur golfers from all over the world. This year 130 golfers from 33 countries competed in the three-day event. (QNA)
