Kyrgyzstani kickboxers earn medals at international tournament in Turkey

Domestic kickboxers won 4 medals (3 gold, 1 bronze) at the 6th International Turkish Open Kickboxing European Cup, the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports said on Tuesday. The sporting event took place on April 8-11 in Antalya, Turkey. "The gold medal of the tournament was won by Marat Musaev among juniors in the weight category up to 51 kg, two-time World Champion Avazbek Amanbekov (60 kg) and World Cup winner Rustam Ibragimov (63.5 kg). Akhror Rozbayev became the bronze prize-winner in the weight category up to 57 kg,” the report says. The tournament was attended by the strongest athletes from more than 20 countries.
