Kyrgyzstan earns 11 medals at Uzbekistan’s Swimming Open Cup

Bishkek, Nov. 30, 2020 /Kabar/. The national swimming team of the Kyrgyz Republic has won 11 medals at the licensed Open Swimming Cup of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Kyrgyz State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports said Monday. A total of 300 swimmers from Kyrgyzstan, Czech Republic and Uzbekistan took part in the competition. Kyrgyzstan was represented at the tournament by 6 athletes. According to the results of the competition, the country has earned 3 gold (Denis Petrashov, Elizaveta Rogozhnikova), 6 silver (Elizaveta Rogozhnikova, Ramazan Omarov) and 3 bronze (Denis Petrashov, Elizaveta Rogozhnikova, Tengiz Tyubeyev) medals. The Cup started on Nov. 24 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) and ended on Nov. 29.
