Kyrgyz athlete Aiperi Medet kyzy to compete for gold of World U23 Wrestling Championships

Female wrestler from Kyrgyzstan Aiperi Medet kyzy has reached the finals of the women's under-23 World Championships, which is held in Belgrade, Serbia, the United World Wrestling said. In 1/8 finals, the national athlete, performing in the weight category in the 76 kg, beat Genesis Valdes of Ecuador. In the quarterfinals Aiperi Medet kyzy also defeated Bipasha from India on a carcass. In the semifinals, the Kyrgyz female wrestler defeated American Kylie Renee Welker with a score of 8:0.
