Kuwait to host CISM's AGM meeting

Manama, May 14 (BNA): The International Military Sports Council (CISM)'s board chairman, Colonel Abdul-Hakeem Al-Shenou, will preside over the Council's annual general assembly meeting in the State of Kuwait, May 17-22. The Executive Board meetings of CISM will start on Sunday (May 17), followed by a dinner banquet in honour of heads participating delegations. Morning session is allocated for official visit to be announced later on, which coincide with the meeting of heads of games under the umbrella of CISM. In the afternoon, a press conference will be held to announce the details of the meetings and to review the work plan, programmes, activities and functions of the Council followed by official inauguration of the meetings agenda. Al Shenou said there many topics and issues to be discussed at the dialogue table and during the AGM and congress meetings. Plans implemented as well as latest agreements signed with international bodies and organisations regarding peace will also be discussed.
