Khalid bin Abdulla receives Best Arab Sports Administrator award

Manama, Jan. 15 (BNA): Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Vice-President of the International Equestrian Federation (Fédération Equestre Internationale, FEI) and President of the Seventh Arabian Group received the award of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai for the best sports administrator in the Arab World. During the awarding ceremony which was held in Dubai in UAE, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa thanked HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his continuous efforts to support and improve Arabian sports cadres and introduce new projects to develop the Arabian sports sector. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa expressed his joy and appreciation of the new achievement to the Bahraini sports, adding that the award came as a result of the never-ending support of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee to all sports in Bahrain. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa said the award would be a motivation to him and all Bahraini sports cadres to serve the Bahraini sports sector and continue the efforts to improve it, especially on the administrative side. Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Awards also included the Seventh Forum for Creativity in Sports, highlighting the expertise and skills of athletes and athletic establishments. Shiakh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa spoke in one of the forum’s discussion sessions about Arab sports administrators and administrative experiences.
