Khaddar, Khalid Shine at Police Body Building Championships

Doha, March 18 (QNA) - Qatar Police Sports Federation's (QPSF) muscleman Ahmed Mohammed Khaddar, Lakhwiya's Amado Khaled and Gharafa Gymnasium's Jalal Al Rayyashi won the top positions in the over 90 kgs, 90kgs and 80kgs weight categories at the Fifth Police Body Building Championships. The championships, which paraded the country's best bodybuilders, was organised by the QPSF in association with the Qatar Weightlifting and Body Building Federation (QWBF) at Doha Sheraton Hotel. QPSF board member Colonel Mohammed Ateeq Al Kuwari, the Assistant Secretary of the Federation Captain Abdul Hakeem Mohammed Abdu and a large number of fans attended the championship and music concert that followed last Friday. The contests featured 20 builders in four groups; 70 kgs, 80 kgs, 90 kgs and 90+ kgs. The total prize money was QR 100,000 and the first place winner from each category received QR 10,000. Colonel Al Kuwari, Captain Abdu and Lieutenant Rashid Al Hajiri crowned the winners.
