IHF Super Globe 2012 Draw to be Held in Doha in June

Doha, May 27 (QNA) - Doha will host the draw of the IHF Super Globe 2012 on 23 June. The event is organized by the Qatar Handball Association and will take place during the period from 27 August until 1 September, with the participation of 8 teams. The IHF Super Globe will be played in Al Gharaffa hall in Doha. The teams qualified for the IHF Super Globe 2012 are Al-Sadd club Doha (organizer), Al-Jaish club Doha (Qatar wild card), THW Kiel (defending champion), Mudhar (Saudi Arabia, Asia), Al-Zamallek (Egypt, Africa), Metodista Sao Bernardo (Brazil, Pan-America) and University of Sydney (Australia, Oceania). The European participant will be decided at the EHF Champions League FINAL4, played in Cologne, Germany on 26/27 May. If defending champion THW Kiel wins the Champions League, the finalist will qualify for the IHF Super Globe. (QNA)
