H.H. the Emir Awards Winners of 5th, 6th, and 7th Rounds of Horses Annual Race

Doha, March 01 (QNA) - H.H. the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani attended the Thoroughbred Arabian Horses annual race for H.H. the Emir's Sword and two trophies, which took place this evening at the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club in Rayyan. The race was attended by H.H. the Emir's Private Secretary H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani. It was also attended by a number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs and Ministers. At the end of race H.H. the Emir presented the Golden Sword to H.E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani on behalf of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani, the owner of the horse Aziz, winner of the 7th round. H.H. the Emir also presented the trophy of the 6th round to H.H. the Emir's Private Secretary H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, the owner of the Lancelot horse which won the first place in this race. He also presented the trophy of the 5th round to H.E. Sheikh Hamad bin Mish'al bin Hamad Al Thani, owner of the horse Mujahaz, winner of this round. H.H. the Emir toured the new equestrian building before the main race and viewed its sports halls and facilities. (QNA)
