HE QOC Secretary General Praises GCC Football Championships

Manama, January 05 (QNA) - HE Secretary General of the Qatari Olympic Committee (QOC) Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani hailed Saturday the GCC football championships, saying that it strengthens relations between gulf countries, particularly its youth. His Excellency said that the encounters between the Gulf's youth on such tournaments was of immense value. Sheikh Saoud also praised the GCC football championship for continuing to deliver since 1970. The Secretary General of the Qatari Olympic Committee said that the GCC football championships have also played a huge role in improving the infrastructure and sporting facilities in all GCC countries.
