France's Tsonga Gets to Second Round of Qatar Open

Doha, January 03 (QNA) - French Jo-Wilfried Tsonga survived a tough three-set test from 118th-ranked Malek Jaziri of Tunisia to advance to the second round of the Qatar Open in Doha on Tuesday. Tsonga, the third seed, served 12 aces and saved five break points en route to a 7-6 (5), 6-7 (5), 6-1 win. It was the Frenchman s first match since he lost to Roger Federer in the final of the ATP World Tour Finals in November. (QNA)
